The producer, composer & multi-instrumentalist Vincent Martini aka VINZOO, originally from Marseille finds his inspiration in life and in the energies that surround him. Vinz considers himself a „sound gardener“ who is deeply inspired by the cultures and landscapes he encounteres during travels around the world. His message is universal: hope, peace, unity and respect for our Pachamama.His debut EP „FAUNA“ showcases his talent to create tracks that seem like a collage of organic soulful sounds that fuses multiple genres with the magic and wisdom of various cultures into exciting and groovy yetdeep and contemplative dance journeys.„Selva“ evokes a feeling of joyful and untamed wildness and connects us with the wisdom and power of the earth. Enchanting flutes, the sound of birds and the cacophony of the jungle awake ancient memories of a way of life that was in harmony and balance with nature and the cosmic forces.„Sutai“ uses elements of dub and reggae as well as traditional south american instruments and ethnic vocal-snippets to create a rising and constantly building energy on the dancefloor that let's all walls and barriers around the heart melt away and leave us with a state of joy and bliss.„Oulan“ reflects an unfolding mystical and psychedelic journey into the paradox of the universe as a mirror reflection. The track invites us to explore the depths and diffrent colours and nuances of the human experience. Meandering beyond time and space with an underlying tone of melancholy we remember that our path is infinite and that life is all about the journey and not the destination. In his rework for „Selva“ Da Iguana captures the vibe from the original while adding funk, sparkle and mystery at the same time to create a smooth and playful re-interpretation. Joaquin Cornejos alchemizes the orginal elements of „Sutai“ into an enchanting lush and laid back trip that surprises with amen-breaks and psy-dub references.
