Kirill Donev is living among wildlife and powerful nature in the north of Russia.
„Pinega“ is the name of a mystical 800km long river flowing from the depths of the northern taiga up to the white sea. His love and admiration for this powerful river and the places it reveals served as an inspiration to tell this story of magic and ancient wisdom that still is present today for those who are able and willing to listen to the nature and it's spirits. The original track has been reworked by sound alchemists who already contributed lots of quality music to the organic ethnic downtempo scene. Ibu Selva creates a trippy ceremonial ambience for a deep dubby journey on the slowed down dancefloor. Tomanka turns the original into a hypnotic and enchanting benevolent groove-monster and Steffen Ki paints a vivid colorful picture with dreamy ambient soundscapes, sweet melodies and organic percussion sounds.
